Our patented technology:
3D trommel screen
The 3D trommel screen is commonly used as the first step in the separation process of a sorting plant. A trommel screen separates the material stream to be processed according to size. The material to be screened disappears through the perforation of the screen drum, while the oversize fraction is discharged to the end of the drum.
A Senro 3D trommel screen, a screen with fall-through restriction, prevents long particles from entering the screen fraction. Indeed, long particles can have a very undesirable effect on the subsequent sorting process.
The patented 3D trommel consists of a cohesion of a number of precisely matched systems.
Senro develops and produces trommel screens for a wide range of applications. Each trommel screen is custom designed by our own engineering department so that it is ideally suited for the required sorting and capacity.

Features of the 3D Trommel Screen
- Very suitable for applications with long, thin parts (e.g. sticks, planks, PVC pipes)
- Prevents blockages in the further sorting process
- Shape and size of sieve perforation customer- and process-specific, optional exchangeable sieve plates
- Low maintenance costs due to use of high-quality abrasion-resistant material
- Easy inspection possibilities and safe access for maintenance
- Minimum drum oscillation and virtually vibration-free, due to turned treads
- Possibility of screening multiple fraction sizes
